Tailor-made theatre joy for children and young people – on tour across Finland

Teater Taimine is a professional touring theatre that has been bringing magical theatre experiences to children and young people since 2002. We create new, tailor-made performances in children’s theatre and youth theatre, performing all over Finland, from the north to the south. Our shows combine traditional theatre with radio theatre, dance, and a generous dose of humour – always inspired by the imagination, ideas, and perspectives of children and young people.

Supporting Arts Education, Learning, and Wellbeing

Our goal is to support children’s and young people’s arts education, learning, and wellbeing. Our performances provide not only engaging experiences but also educational content that aligns with school and daycare curricula. We offer a wide range of teaching materials that complement the performances and help deepen the experience.

Each year, we deliver over 300 performances, reaching more than 40 000 children and young people across Finland. Our mission is to inspire, delight, and develop critical thinking and wellbeing among young audiences.
